I think the most off putting part was as we were leaving.. the push was on to ‘tip the staff as that’s what they work for’. Made us feel like if we didn’t tip, staff wouldn’t get paid?! it was buffet, nothing served to guests.. all go and get it AND we all cleaned all our own tables?!

A must do at least once.
Very peaceful and scenic ride...
I highly recommend this to anyone. The crew was great.
They also offer boat rentals for those looking to either fish or enjoy themselves. During the winter months they launch a classic paddle boat which plays host to brunch and sunset dinners. The paddle boat is also available for rent, for those looking to truly enjoy the river's nightlife.
Arizona National Wildlife Refuge & the Lower Colorado River
Nestled in the heart of southwestern Arizona, the Kofa National Wildlife Refuge spans over 665,000 acres of rugged Sonoran Desert terrain. Located northeast of Yuma and southeast of Quartzsite, this protected sanctuary, established in 1939 to preserve the desert bighorn sheep, is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts. Spotting these majestic creatures in their natural habitat is a highlight for many visitors!
Just below Picacho State Park, the Lower Colorado River reveals a breathtaking landscape of desert canyons, sweeping river valleys, and remote mountain ranges. The floodplain and lush riparian zones are best explored by water, with access through the river itself and its surrounding lakes, including Martinez Lake, Ferguson Lake, Squaw Lake, and more. Our guided river cruises, led by seasoned captains and crew, offer not only scenic views but rich storytelling about the region’s history and ecology.
Join us for an unforgettable evening on one of Yuma’s favorite attractions: the Colorado King dinner cruise. Enjoy delicious fare, stunning sunset views, and warm hospitality, all with free parking provided by Fisher’s Landing and a host of convenient on-site amenities.
We can’t wait to welcome you aboard!
